This curved splint applies a 30 degree reverse angle
under the PIP joint to simulate a spring-like mechanism. The gentle
pressure that is distributed reduces PIP joint flexion contractures.
Suitable for flexion contractures up to 80 degrees.
The neoprene splint provides a relaxing warmth, uniform circumferential
pressure to help reduce edema, and is useful in scar tissue remodeling.
Can be trimmed in length or in web space. Ideal for use with acute
injuries, for post-surgical repairs of the PIP joints, and to offset the
PIP flexion in spinal cord injuries C7 or higher.
For size, measure circumference of the PIP joint. Latex free. |
